BSSMELB Picnic in the Park
Assalamualaikum and Hello Friends,
Welcome back to Melbourne!
We trust everyone has had a good holiday and are settling in well!
BSSMelb are hosting a “Potluck Picnic in the Park” event to welcome New and Old friends to Melbourne. We hope in particular to assist new students in getting to know other Bruneians here in Melbourne as well as the ins and outs of the city. It would be wonderful for students familiar with Melbourne to share their experiences and knowledge with everyone… So dig up your old picnic rug, throw on some warm clothes (just incase the weather turns), enjoy a kick around of football, bouts of carah and a scavenger hunt with us!
BSSMelb will provide everyone with Refreshments, Cutlery, Plates and would greatly appreciate if everyone can come with a bite to share (halal is preferable).

BruONz 2010 Sports - Badminton

Location: Menglait Sports Complex
Time: 9:00AM
Interested in playing badminton singles or doubles? Join BruONz’s badminton games, and play for your favorite Aussie state or any state. Come to BruONz’s last game event before we end our summer break with a gala dinner coming next week! More details of that coming soon!

Team Requirement:
4 players per state (2 boys and 2 girls) playing game of singles and mix doubles. Fees: $40 per state ($10 per player)

Taking registration now. Last to register an hour before games starts, this include any payment required for each team.

Hey ladies, interested in playing netball? Come and join the fun! BruONz is hosting a all-female game for you ladies who wants a friendly match with other states. Fellow friends and family are also welcome to support the ladies, or your favorite Australian state! Come and register your team now! or join an existing team!
Date: 16th Jan (Sat)
Location: Menglait Sports Complex
Time: 10am
Team Requirement:
Max. of 11 players (7 players and 4 subs). No substitution limit). Fees is $30 per team.
Registration Deadline:
Taking registration now. LAST registration (whole team) 9:00AM. Only ladies can play. Please be at least an hour early before the game for any registration and payment that are needed to be made.

BruONz Sports - Futsal
Date: 10th January 2010
Location: Menglait sports complex
The friendly game will start approx 1130 and teams were to arrive at the court by 930am. Each half is 7 minutes and 1 minute halftime break. A gap of 5mins in between games.
Game Style: Round robin
Team Requirement:
Max. 9 players per team (5 players and 4 subs). Each state max of 5 teams.
Fee: $30 per team
Team Registration:
Taking Registration now. LAST registration is an HOUR(10:00AM) before the game time (last 11:00AM).
